Interfaces today are mostly menus and buttons. This project asks what happens when an interface becomes a space you move through and a conversation you live in.
The interface is a spatial layout with a calendar on the left and a chat on the right, and every day gets an isolated conversation. Lica's persona applies motivational interviewing, a counseling method that reads the emotional tone first and uses reflective listening to elicit the user's own answers. The one-question-per-turn rule mirrors Socratic guided discovery, and the greeting prompt changes with the date and the season.
I wanted to see whether Licanote could harness the chatbot as the main user interface.
